Our MottoAt On Broadway we believe all children have a gift that can be improved through performing arts training.We offer a structured learning environment which emphasizes technique, discipline, musicality, and opportunities to perform. Each class follows an age appropriate curriculum. We believe that dance, music and theatre training are all important to making a well-rounded artist, and we strive to provide an environment that enhances the creative abilities in every student. January Calendar The studio will also be closed from Wednesday, Dec 23rd- Friday January 1st for Winter Recess. We will reopen on Saturday, the 2nd for regular classes. Please see the makeup calendar for the makeup class times. Martin Luther King Day The studio will be closed on Monday, January 18th for Martin Luther King Day. Next Show Date The next show we will be preparing for will be our Spring Show at St. Vincent’s on Saturday, March 20th. Our show will most likely be at 2 pm, but we will keep you updated. Piano & Vocal Lessons We would like to welcome Vasil Vasilev aboard as our new Piano and Voice teacher. Vasil is a graduate of Julliard and also teaches at NYU. He will be taking appointments for lessons on Tuesdays. Please ask at the front desk for more info. Women’s Self Defense Isshinryu Family Karate will be conducting a Women’s Self Defense course on Friday evenings from 6:30-7:30 for 5 weeks, and the cost is $40. If you are interested, please sign up at the front desk. If you would like more information, please call 862-268-3656. The start date is tba. Child Safety For your child’s safety, please walk them into the building and come into the building to pick them up after class. We do not want children left out in the parking lot while waiting for their parents. As the daylight hours get fewer, we encourage you to scan the parking lot carefully as you enter and exit. School Closings Please be advised that when the schools are closed due to inclement weather or in observance of a national holiday, we will also be closed. If the schools close for any other reason, we do not necessarily close. To be sure, please call the studio and/ or check your e-mail as we will announce our closings via these methods. 2010 Studio Calendar & Handbook: Please note we have added dates to the 2010 studio calendar. Please take note of the dates for upcoming important events. Everyone should have gotten a copy of the handbook at registration or you can view it on our studio information page. It does contain important information regarding dress code and recital policy that most recurring students are already aware of. If you have not done so already, please review it. |
